Thier Festive Island Escape by Nina Singh

Oh my gosh, this book was just amazing!

I started reading it on the train and by the time I got home I was so captured in the story that I couldn’t put it down!

Celeste has been badly hurt in the past and unsurprisingly she is protective of herself, but also of her family who rely on her

Reid was her ex fiancés best friend and when they end up in Jamaica together it’s a surprise to both of them

I enjoyed reading about Celestes development as a character from someone who was emotionally scared and who didn’t trust her own feelings to someone who could be willing to let go

They embarked on a marketing plan together and I so want to go do some of the activities, I mean waterfall climbing!! But also some other less adrenaline filled ones as well

Reid believed his friend all those years ago and thought that Celeste was no more than a work obsessed to the exclusion of all else kind of person, actually she is far from that and seeing Reid learn more about her was really nice!

Although it says festive, and is based over Christmas, there isn’t loads of reference to the holiday which I know can work for some people. I can be one of them which may be another reason why it appealed to me so much!

I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a romance in amazing weather with characters who know what they want but who are also relatable and people who you side with
