Marrying His Runaway Heiress by Therese Beharrie

Elena and Micah met when she was tasked by the newspaper she worked for to get a profile and interview from him. It comprises of a week long trip in Italy so she can fully understand his world
I liked Elena, she is thoughtful, confident and determined but she is also stressed and nervous as her father is trying to force her into an arranged marriage. Her escape to Italy was a welcome break for her and I loved seeing the country through her eyes as she explored
Micah is more reserved and has a lot of unresolved childhood issues but he still comes through with strength and has become a very successful businessman. He has a strong sense of duty although he doesn’t always admit it and he finds it hard to trust people, although he does start to trust Elena quite early on when she helps him with a speech he must present
Whilst a part of me thinks that both Elena and Micah should probably be in therapy because of their childhood issues their story still captured my attention and left me wondering what would happen next especially as their relationship was constantly changing which kept me on my toes!
I would recommend this book to those who enjoy a romance with great characters and a fantastic setting which will suck you in and not let you go
