Stuck On You by Portia MacIntosh

Could a post-it note really lead to love…?

Sadie doesn’t have time for finding love. She’s too busy as PA for famous artist Damian Banks. When she’s not arranging exhibitions, she’s organising his dry cleaning or dumping his never ending stream of girlfriends.

But when she strikes up an unusual friendship with her desk share buddy, she finds a confidante and a new potential love interest. Problem is, they’ve never actually met…

With Christmas just around the corner, can Sadie put herself first for a change and find what she’s been looking for all along?

The brand new romantic comedy from top 10 bestseller Portia MacIntosh. Perfect for fans of Sophie Ranald, Mhairi McFarlane and Zara Stoneley.

Fabulous and great fun
Sadie is an assistant to famous photographer Damian Banks and it’s not quite the job she expected, she is more dogsbody than anything else. When she discovers that Damian is going to be alone at Christmas he asks if he can come home with her and celebrate with her family which she reluctantly agrees to, especially as she has a new job and isn’t sure of when to hand in her notice
I liked Sadie as a character, she is aware of what she wants and who she is as a person. She adores her family and they have some very strange Christmas traditions which seem like great fun! But at the same time she is carrying on a part relationship with Adam, the person who shares her desk, via post it notes, she had never met him but it annoys me that she asks him out but then as soon as she is home and spending more normal time with Damian she forgets all about Adam which felt odd to me and a bit out of character
I would have loved to have heard some of the story if not a whole version from Damian’s point of view as I think that would help make things clearer and would have made me love him as a character much earlier on
I will admit that the ending, before the final chapter, felt a bit rushed and didn’t fully answer questions that I had and didn’t flow as well as the rest of the book. Despite this, it is a great fun book to read that had me hooked and I couldn’t put it down, I really wanted to know what happened next
I would recommend this book to those who enjoy a festive romance with a lot of fun and a story that will worm its way into your heart
