The Viscount’s Unconventional Lady by Virginia Heath

The Viscounts Unconventional lady

The notorious Viscount And the most gossiped-about lady…

After years as a diplomat in the Napoleonic wars, Lord Eastwood is reluctant to return to London society. His scandalous divorce has made him infamous, not to mention cantankerous! To halt the rumour mill, he should marry a quiet noblewoman – instead it’s bold, vibrant artist, Faith Brookes, who’s caught his attention. They are the least suitable match, so why is he like a moth to a flame…?

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A fabulously unconventional read that had me hooked
He is one of the most talked about men in London following his divorce. She is the daughter of an artist and an opera singer and when they are forced together their relationship blossoms but will their pasts come back to haunt them
I loved Faith, she was a great fun character, incredibly artistic and creative, she was willing and able to change her mind about Piers as she learnt more about him. She lives in Bloomsbury, cares a lot for her family and is used to being in the scandal pages just by talking to people thanks to her family’s background but this makes her seem more normal
Piers has always been drawn to people who stand out and when he meets Faith he is instantly captivated. He is nervous and tongue tied around her, thinking himself boring and not someone that she would ever be interested in, especially as she is a bit like his ex wife. I loved Piers right from the start, he is vulnerable but strong, incredibly intelligent and as he comes out of his shell he becomes even more loveable
Both Piers and Faith have had a past full of scandals and on the surface they seem like very different people but they are drawn to each other, and a lot of their exchanges had me captivated and wanting to read more
I would recommend this book to those who enjoy a romance where the characters are not the traditional regency characters but people you will adore

When Virginia Heath was a little girl it took her ages to fall asleep, so she made up stories in her head to help pass the time while she was staring at the ceiling. As she got older, the stories became more complicated, sometimes taking weeks to get to the happy ending. Then one day, she decided to embrace the insomnia and start writing them down. Despite that, it still takes her forever to fall asleep.
