Freddie and Jasmine were torn apart when they were teenagers and now an exclusive match making services has them both at a private resort in the Seychelles, the place they always dreamed of as their honeymoon but can this second chance put the past behind them 

I loved Jasmine, she broke off her engagement with Freddie when they were younger as his family didn’t approve and she didn’t want to cause a rift between them. She is smart, independent and knows what she wants, but she is also scared of pain and of not belonging which made me really connect with her. She is the kind of person that I would love to meet and get to know, she felt real and I could feel her emotions along with her

Freddie doesn’t want to fall in love, especially since Jasmine left and broke his heart but meeting her again makes him question that. He has a lot of emotions that he can’t always process and seeing him work through that made him even more loveable. He adores his family but also wants his own independence, he doesn’t want to do things just because of them and I think this made him stronger as a character. He stands up for what he believes in and also supports others to do the same which made me love him even more

Both Jasmine and Freddie are both haunted by their past and relationships didn’t work out because subconsciously they weren’t with each other (this isn’t a spoiler, they realise this very early on) and seeing them understand more about what happened back then and wonder if things would be different now is a huge part of the story. They both develop to more rounded people who have a better emotional understanding of themselves and realise that things don’t have to be what they originally thought 

I loved this book, Freddie and Jasmine wound their way into my heart so quickly and I was so addicted that I read it all in one go. Their personalities, the adventures dates they go on and the amazing setting (which I so want to go to!) made it a book that I would want to share it with everyone but especially those who love emotional romances with some surprises round the corners

Rachael Stewart adores conjuring up stories for the readers of Harlequin Mills & Boon and Deep Desires Press, with tales varying from the heartwarmingly romantic to the wildly erotic.

She’s been writing since she could put pen to paper as the stacks of scrawled on A4 sheets in her loft will attest to, and the lovingly bound short stories that her father would run off at work and proudly share out with his colleagues. Thinking it was a pipe dream to be published one day, she pursued a sensible career in business but she was really play-acting, achieving the appropriate degree and spending many years in the corporate world where she never truly belonged. Always happiest when she was sat at her laptop in the quiet hours tapping out a story or two. And so here she is, a published author, her full-time pleasure, a dream come true.

A Welsh lass at heart, she now lives in Yorkshire with her husband and three children, and if she’s not glued to her laptop, she’s wrapped up in them or enjoying the great outdoors seeking out inspiration.
